Man Utd vs Newcastle: Ronaldo predicted to score an hat trick

The Premier League returns this weekend and Man Utd are among the top clubs that will be playing on Saturday as they host Newcastle United at Old Trafford.

Ahead of the match, former Arsenal star and piundit, Paul Merson has predicted the Red Devils to win the match easily owing to the presence of Cristiano Ronaldo in the team.

Merson noted that it is going to be one of the most anticipated games and he predicted Ronaldo to score an hat trick vs. the Magpies.

Merson said: “It will be quite interesting to watch Manchester United adapt to having Ronaldo in their ranks. United should be able to blow Newcastle away this weekend.

“I hope Ronaldo scores a hat-trick on Saturday – it won’t be easy, but I wouldn’t put it past him. Manchester United 3-0 Newcastle United.”

The Portuguese his expected to get a nod to start for the Red Devils today, which made it the second match since returning to Man Utd.

Recall that Ronaldo returned to Old Trafford in the recent summer transfer window after 12 years away playing for Juventus and Real Madrid.
