Man Utd star to return to former club

A report via Sky Sports revealed Manchester United are in talks with German club Borussia Dortmund over a loan deal for Jadon Sancho.

The two clubs are said to be in talks for the deal that could see Sancho return to Dortmund for the rest of the season.

Recall that Man United signed Sancho from Dortmund in the summer of 2021 in a deal worth £73 million.

However, he has not featured for the Red Devils after a public falling out with boss Erik ten Hag following his criticisms of the forward’s performances in training in August.

Despite Man Utd woes this season, Ten Hag has continued to keep Sancho on the sideline, in what seems to be punishment for his action.

Meanwhile, Sancho’s contract with Man Utd expires in 2026, with the Red Devils having the option to extend for a further year.
