Christensen, who is signed to Spanish sidr Barcelona, has made only 75 appearances for the Catalans since joining them on a free transfer in 2022.

However, he has struggled for game time this season under manager Hansi Flick’s side due to fitness problems.

Meanwhile, Christensen returned to training over the weekend as he looks to get his career back on track.
