Man City to replace Aguero with this player

Manchester City are already preparing for life ahead of the departure of their top-rated striker, Sergio Aguero.

Man City had in a recent statement had revealed that they wouldn’t be renewing Aguero’s contract at the club and he would be allowed to leave the club in the coming summer transfer window.

The report revealed that the Pep Guardiola’s Man City squad are already working out ways to sign a new replacement for Aguero.

According to the report, Borussia Dortmund, Erling Haaland has been named the favourite to replace the Citizen’s talisman.

According to the UK Sun, Man City want Borussia Dortmund striker, Erling Haaland, as a long-term replacement for Aguero.

The report added that Man City board are hoping emotional leverage will play in their favour for a potential deal for the Norway international, with Haaland’s father Alf-Inge having played for the club between 2000 and 2003.

However, Man City will have to battle with the likes of Real Madrid, Chelsea among others who are eying moves for Haaland.

Haaland is the most sort after striker in Europe at the moment owing to his top-scoring ability.

It is, however, uncertain if Dortmund will grant any transfer for him in the summer transfer window.
