Man City are reportedly watching Sergio Ramos’s situation at Real Madrid with the hope of signing him to Etihad stadium next season.

ESPN reports that Man Utd are ready to hand a 2-year deal to Ramos and also an extension of his performance is worth it.

The report added that City are looking at offering Ramos a tailored contract based on his form and own priorities which is a two-year contract, with the possibility of a third if performance allows.

Also, the Real Madrid defender could get the alternative of a spell in Major League Soccer (MLS) at City Football Group’s New York City FC.

With Ramos’ contract at the Bernabeu ending on June 30, he has however revealed his priority is still to remain at Real Madrid.

The only thing that can make Ramos leave the Los Blancos is if an agreement with president Florentino Perez cannot be reached.

According to the report from Spain, a meeting between Ramos and Perez is scheduled to take place in the next few days when a definitive decision will be taken.

The outcome of the meeting will determine if Man City will go-ahead to sign him or move on to another defender.
