Man City and Man Utd get boost to sign Chelsea target

The latest report has revealed that Villarreal defender, Pau Torres will be available in the summer transfer window.

This comes after the Spanish club revealed that Torres will be allowed to leave but not at a cut price deal.

This is a big boost for the likes of Man Utd and Man City who have shown interest in him.

The reports have revealed that Man Utd for one under coach, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer are willing to bring him to Old Trafford to help strengthen their defence.

Apart from Harry Maguire who happens to be a key player at the back at Old Trafford, the performances of the other defenders are nothing to write home about.

At the moment Maguire is out of the team due to injury, if Man Utd can complete the deal for Torres it  will be a big boost for them.

When asked directly about the prospect of Torres joining Manchester City or Manchester United this summer, Roig told Spanish radio show El Transistor: “Yes, If they arrive with the money and the player wants to move.

“But there must be an agreement between all three parties.”

Torres has a €65 million release clause in his contract with Villarreal.
