Lukaku returns to training
Chelsea striker and Belgium international Romelu Lukaku has finally returned to training.
Lukaku, who was signed from Inter Milan in the recent summer transfer window, has been out of the Blues squad owing to injury.
The Belgian striker missed five matches in a row, all competitions after he suffered an ankle injury during the Blues Uefa Champions League victory over Malmo some weeks back.
As revealed by Evening Standard, the striker has now been pictured in training during the international break.
The international break has been helpful when it comes to Lukaku gaining back his form.
With Thomas Tuchel’s side returning to action this weekend when they take a show trip to the King Power Stadium to face Leicester City in the Premier League, there are speculations that Lukaku will start for the Blues or come in from the bench.
Aside from Lukaku, another Chelsea player that suffered an injury during their game with Malmo in the UCL in October is Germany international Timo Werner.
Chelsea have done well so far without the presence of their critical strikers in their last five matches.
