Liverpool told to join the race for Arsenal and Chelsea target

Former Liverpool star Didi Hamann has sent a message to the Reds on a player to sign this summer.

Hamann urged Liverpool to join Chelsea and Arsenal in the race for Brighton’s midfielder Moises Caicedo.

According to Hamann, Caicedo is a brilliant player, who fits the profile of a ball-winner, which makes him a good addition to the Reds.

It is no longer news that Chelsea are keen on signing Caicedo to their midfield, while Arsenal, who already splashed millions on Declan Rice are also eying the Ecuadorian star.

Speaking to Lord Ping, Hamann said, “Moises Caicedo is a brilliant player, he fits the profile of a ‘ball-winner’, what Fabinho has been doing for Liverpool for years.

“If there is an opportunity to hijack the deal from Chelsea, then I think Liverpool should go for Caicedo.

“He would be another great signing for Liverpool’s midfield, alongside Dominik Szoboszlai and Alexis Mac Allister.”
