Liverpool star commits future to the reds, signs new five-year contract

Premier League outfit, Liverpool’s star midfielder Fabinho has signed a new five-year deal with the reds.

Fabinho in the process has become the latest players in the team to commit their future to the club.

Liverpool have been under pressure to sign players this summer but some fans have also been skeptical of the contract of some experience player in the team.

With Wijnaldum allowed to leave on free transfer this summer, fans were hopeful such won’t happen to other top stars.

However, Fabinho who joined in 2018 for a little under £40m will now continue his good role under Jurgen Klopp.

Fabinho has been a pivotal figure in the success that Jurgen Klopp’s side have enjoyed over the past few seasons.

He has the ability to play as a defensive midfielder and also as a centre-back.

The 28-year-old played a huge role for Liverpool when they won the Premier League and Champions’ League, alongside the World Club Cup and UEFA Super Cup.

His commitment will come as a good news to the reds fans with Trent Alexander-Arnold agreeing new terms, less than a week ago.
