Liverpool set to miss out of France youngster set to move to Spanish side
Liverpool are set to lose out in their pursuit of French youngster Eduardo Camavinga who is reportedly on the verge of joining Real Madrid.
Camavinga has caught the eye of top European teams with his performance for Rennes with reports claiming he’s set for a new adventure this summer.
The youngster has been linked with Chelsea, Manchester United but 90min reported on August 23 that the former Premier League champions wanted to hold talks with Rennes over signing Camavinga in the summer transfer window.
Liverpool have reportedly identified Camavinga as a replacement for Georginio Wijnaldum who left Anfield for Paris Saint-Germain this summer.
However, Liverpool have been dealt with a huge blow in the pursuit of Camavinga as the latest reports suggest that he is about to join Spanish giants Real Madrid.
According to Goal, the deal will be completed before the end of the transfer window.
Popular Italian journalist, Fabrizio Romano also reported that Camavinga has completed his medical and an official announcement will be made soon.
