Liverpool manager tipped to bring the best out of under-fire Chelsea forward

Former Liverpool striker Emile Heskey has insisted that Jurgen Klopp has the magic to bring out the best in Chelsea star, Christian Pulisic.

Christian Pulisic has not been able to perform at his best since he joined Chelsea from Borussia Dortmund and the arrival of Thomas Tuchel has not helped.

Thomas Tuchel has not been using the United States international consecutively as he’s been forced to start from the bench.

This has seen him being linked with a move out of the club as Liverpool are reportedly one of the club’s eager to sign him.

With Jurgen Klopp handling Pulisic his big break at Borussia Dortmund some years ago,
Heskey believes his old club could give him a new lease of life.

Speaking with HITC, Heskey stated that he thinks Pulisic can play in several different ways as he’s exciting and he’s a big fan.

However, Heskey pinpointed that the thing with Pulisic is that it looks like he needs to be loved, he needs a manager who’s going to put his arm around him and tell him he’s great and then you get the best out of him.

Heskey noted that he didn’t think Pulisic got that inner-love for himself as he had that massive injury in the FA Cup final defeat to Arsenal and he has not been the same since.

The former England striker added that when you have a dip like that, you need a manager who can pull you out.
