Liverpool ahead of European rivals in the pursuit of talented youngster

Premier League outfit Liverpool are reportedly leading the race to sign exciting Newcastle United prospect Bobby Clark.

Bobby Clark who is just 16-year-old is the son of former Newcastle and Sunderland midfielder Lee.

However, the midfielder’s performance for Newcastle in the past few months have caught the attention of top European clubs.

The likes of Chelsea, Manchester United, Manchester City and Bayern Munich have been linked to him in recent months and it wasn’t surprising when Liverpool joined the race.

Clark made his U18 debut for Newcastle in September 2019 at the age of just 14 and has been widely tipped for big things within the game.

According to Daily Mail, Liverpool are not far ahead of their European rivals in the pursuit of the talented midfielder.

Liverpool have been given youngsters a chance in their team and ten academy prospects are currently on pre-season tour with the first team in Austria.
