Lewandowski linked to Chelsea?

Bayern Munich star and Poland international Robert Lewandowski is set to leave the German club this summer as he has revealed he wouldn’t be signing a new contract with the club.

Speaking to Sky Germany during the Monaco Grand Prix on Sunday, Lewandowski replied to questions over his future by stating that “The time will come to give information. Soon it will be possible to say more.”

Lewandowski has been linked with moves to the Spanish side Barcelona, who are willing to bring him to Camp Nou.

However, the latest report has also linked Chelsea with moves to sign him this summer as the Blues hope to find the solution to their attack position as Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner struggled to perform.

A report vis The Guardian revealed Chelsea could join the race to sign Lewandowski despite the Bayern Munich forward favouring a move to Barcelona.

It is claimed Thomas Tuchel is a huge admirer of Lewandowski, who has scored 343 goals since arriving at Bayern in 2014.

Aside from Lewandowski, the Blues have been linked to another Bundesliga forward in RB Leipzig’s Christopher Nkunku, who is also rumoured to be leaving Germany this summer.
