Koulibaly names Chelsea star who could win Ballon d’Or in future

Al Hilal defender Kalidou Koulibaly recently spoke about his former club Chelsea and a player that stood out at Stamford Bridge.

Koulibaly tipped Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson to bag the prestigious Ballon d’Or award in the future.

Recall that Manchester City’s Rodri won the award ahead of Vinicius Jnr and Jude Bellingham this year.

According to Koulibaly, his fellow countryman Jackson has the talent to win the top individual award.

This season has been a good for Jackson at Chelsea as he has so far enjoyed a brilliant start the season under new manager Enzo Maresca.

The Senegal stad has scored six goals and created three assists in 10 matches across competitions.

Koulibaly while speaking on talkSPORT said Jackson has the talent to win the Ballon d’Or and as he hoped he would be one of the best players in Africa, and in the world.

“I try to give him advice but he has all the talent in his feet to do it and I hope that he will,” the Senegal defender said.

Recall that Koulibaly joined the Blues from Italian side Napoli before he made a switch to Saudi Arabia in the summer transfer window.
