Koulibaly close to signing 5-year deal with Chelsea

Chelsea are on the verge of welcoming a new defender in the person of Napoli star, Kalidou Koulibaly.

According to the report, Koulibaly will move to Stamford Bridge from Napoli on a five-year deal.

This claim was made by Sky Sports journalist, Michael Bridge on The Transfer Show News where he spoke on Koulibaly’s transfer.

According to him, the Senegalese would be placed on a £160,000 a week salary at Chelsea.

“The deal is expected to be closed today with a fee between £32-33.7million, that is according to our colleagues in Sky in Italy,” Bridge said.

“It has been an interesting one. He is expected to be offered a five-year contract worth £160,000 a week, plus bonuses.

“But the key is here, this is a player who has been linked with Premier League clubs for some time. I think Maurizio Sarri actually wanted him at Chelsea a few years back, but Napoli held firm for quite some time.

“However, he has one year left on his contract and it seems Napoli gets good money and Koulibaly finally gets his Premier League dream.”
