Kane advised against joining Man Utd
Tottenham Hotspur striker and England international Harry Kane has been advised against joining Man Utd, according to former Aston Villa star Gabriel Agbonlahor.
Agbonlahor stressed that it was better for Kane to remain at Tottenham than to join Man Utd, where he would not win any trophy.
This comes as the Tottenham striker has been linked with a move to Man United in the summer, with the Red Devils ready to bolster their squad ahead of next season and arrival of a new coach.
“I think Harry Kane wants to win trophies, that is for sure. But he is not getting any younger and he is not going to be able to achieve that at Manchester United any time soon. I do feel like that would be a sideways move. Yes, Man United have got all this history – but that is not going to win you titles at the end of the day.”
“I think he has a more chance of winning a trophy at Tottenham than at Man United, to be honest. If he wants to win silverware, I think he’s better off leaving to a club guaranteed to get that success,” Agbonlahor told Football Insider.
