Juventus still want to sign Chelsea striker

Serie A champion Juventus have reportedly reignited their interest in Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud ahead of the summer transfer window.

Oliver Giroud has become one of the most sorts after talent in Europe despite having limited game time at Chelsea due to the arrival of Timo Werner from RB Leipzig.

However, the world cup winner have been able to show his class whenever he’s called upon by the Chelsea manager.

With Giroud’s contract at Chelsea running out in the summer, it is still unclear whether he will be signing an extension with the club.

Though Chelsea are reportedly willing to offer him fresh terms to extend his stay at Stamford Bridge Juventus are eager to offer him a better deal.

According to Turin-based Italian daily Tuttosport, Giroud remains a top priority for Juventus who are currently struggling in the Seria A.

Giroud came close to joining Inter Milan in January but it’s not looking like they would be approaching him and Juventus are willing to seize the opportunity.
