Jose Mourinho rates Arsenal’s incoming striker Viktor Gyokeres amid concerns

Arsenal are close to welcoming Viktor Gyokeres as their newest player this summer transfer window.
The Gunners who have been busy in the market have struck a £62.4 million (initial £54.8m + £8.6m in add-ons) deal with Sporting to land the striker, who scored 97 goals in two seasons with the Portuguese Champions.
Gyokeres’ imminent arrival at Emirates, has, however, stirred reactions from a few Arsenal fans who are worried about the striker turning out to be another Darwin Nunez in the Premier League.
Amid the concerns, former Chelsea and now Fenanbahce manager Jose Mourinho has shared his opinion about Gyokeres.
Speaking via a Portuguese media out, Mourinho described Gyokeres as a great player with potentials.
Mourinho said: “Gyokeres is a great player, I have no doubt about that.
“Now, Sporting had a way of playing largely around him or adapted to him; I don’t know what Hugo Viana and Ruben Amorim’s initial thinking was.
“But he’s a player with great potential; it’s clear that in England he’ll play against stronger teams, better players.”
The arrival of Gyokeres at Arsenal signals their determination to win the Premier League title among others next season.
