John Terry speaks on coaching Chelsea
Former Chelsea football star John Terry in a recent statement spoke on coaching the club’s senior team.
Recall that Terry this summer made a return to Stamford Bridge to take up a role in the Blues’ academy.
But despite working in the club’s setup, the 42-year-old said he has given up on managing their senior team.
“Now I’ve realised it’s not going to happen.
“My one dream I had when I left Chelsea was that I was going to come back as manager, but now I know it won’t happen.
“It hurts me and it’ll constantly be niggling away at the back of my mind,” Terry told Chronicle Live.
This is coming at a time Chelsea have continued their poor form under manager Mauricio Pochettino.
The Blues are currently seated at the 11th spot on the league table following their recent loss to Brentford.
