Italian side set to complete deal for out-of-favour Arsenal midfielder

Premier League side, Arsenal are currently the busiest side in the transfer window as they are set to complete the signature of Martin Odegaard from Real Madrid.

Odegaard has been monitored by Arsenal ever since he completed a six month loan deal last season and it’s only a matter of time before he’s unveiled.

The arrival of Odegaard indicates that Arteta will have to allow some players leave this summer and Lucas Torreira is one player who could finally be set to leave the club.

Torreira has failed to impress under Mikel Arteta at Arsenal and was sent out on loan last season to Atletico Madrid where he won the La Liga title.

Arsenal have now been given a huge chance of offloading the midfielder as Giallorossi and Italian outlet Calciomercato claimed that Roma boss Jose Mourinho is keen to bring Torreira to the Stadio Olimpico this month.

Roma had earlier been linked with a move for Granit Xhaka but that wasn’t successful as the Switzerland international might be signing a new deal with Arsenal.

Torreira has made up his mind of leaving Arsenal this summer admitting that he would love to play for Argentine giants Boca Juniors or make a return to Diego Simeone’s Atletico.
