Italian side eager to sign Chelsea youngster at all cost – club legend opens up

Italian side, AC Milan legend Franco Baresi has insisted that the club are willing to go extra mile just to secure the service of Fikayo Tomori permanently from Chelsea.

Tomori has impressed at AC Milan ever since he joined the club on a short term loan deal in January and there are reports that the deal will be made permanent.

Though Chelsea are willing to have him back as he’s currently being identified as an important player in the squad, AC Milan are willing to match the blues asking price.

With some football left to be played before the summer transfer window kickstart, AC Milan legend Baresi who is now their Vice-President described Tomori as a great champion.

Speaking with Gazzetta dello Sport, Baresi stated that AC Milan will do everything to sign Tomori on a permanent deal.

According to Baresi, two months are remaining until the end of the season, and it’s not only up to Milan.

He added that Tomori is imposing himself with talent and determination, he has shown no fear to play in a new league and potentially, he can become a great champion as he can live up to expectations.
