Impressive Madueke tipped to shine for Arsenal vs Nottingham Forest

Arsenal will return to action after the first international break when they take on Nottingham Forest this weekend.

Noni Madueke, who joined the Gunners from Chelsea in the summer transfer transfer window has been tipped to shine for the Gunners when they take on Nottingham this weekend.

Recall that some fans were against the signing of Madueke from Chelsea but he stepped in for the injured Bukayo Saka against Liverpool before the international break and shine in a fierce battle with Milos Kerkez.

To top it, the winger started in England’s games in the international break, impressing against Andorra before scoring a brilliant goal in a 5-0 win over Serbia on Tuesday.

Following his performance, Gary Neville suggested that Saka may need to switch over to the left wing for England in order to create room for Madueke.

With Saka set to miss Arsenal’s game against Nottingham Forest, Madueke is expected to shine for the Gunners.

Former Arsenal star Paul Merson believes that Madueke will be a key player for the Gunners this weekend.

He, however, feels that the winger must show his quality consistently in order to justify his transfer from Chelsea.

“With Bukayo Saka still out injured, Madueke will have a big role to play for Arsenal this weekend,” Merson added.
