Hudson-Odoi returns to Chelsea ahead of pre-season training
Chelsea player Callum Hudson-Odoi is among the first set of players to have returned to the club from the summer holidays.
Hudson-Odoi has commenced training for the new season ahead as he joined the Blues youth teams at Cobham.
The report revealed that Chelsea’s first team are not expected back until July 2 at the earliest, with most trickling back over the subsequent two weeks, depending on their summer schedules.
Hudson-Odoi shared videos via his Instagram story, confirming his participation in the training alongside the club youths.
Hudson-Odoi missed the last four months of the last season after battling some Achilles issue, which has consistently dragged on, given the major rupture he had suffered to that tendon a few years ago.
Before the injury, Hudson-Odoi, was a key player in the Blues squad under Thomas Tuchel with regular involvement last season, both in attack and at wing-back, scoring three goals and creating six assists across 28 appearances in all competitions.
As of now, he has just two years left on his current contract he signed in 2019.
