How much Man Utd will pay Maguire to leave

A report via The Sun UK has revealed Manchester United will pay their former captain Harry Maguire £6m to leave the club this summer window for West Ham.

The two Premier League clubs have already reached an agreement on a deal worth around £30million for the 30-year-old defender.

According to the report, the transfer is likely to be concluded in time for Maguire to feature in the Hammers’ opening game vs Bournemouth.

Maguire will take an enormous wage cut to make the transfer, but the Red Devils are ready to make the payment to help offset that.

The English centre-back has two years left on his £190,000 per-week contract at Old Trafford.

But his move to West Ham will now see him earn £120,000 per week.

This would make Maguire joint third as the Hammers’ highest earner behind Lucas Paqueta (£ 150k per week) and Danny Ings (£ 125,000 per week).
