He is better? Football legend mentions manager Chelsea should have signed instead of Liam Rosenior
Chelsea have undergone under change with Liam Rosenior taken over from Enzo Maresca at Stamford Bridge.
However, Manchester United legend, Paul Scholes, believe Rosenior might not be the ‘best of the best’ for the Blues.
According to Schole, Chelsea should have opted for Como coach Cesc Fabregas over Rosenior as their new manager.
Scholes opined that Fabregas, who was once a Chelsea midfielder, should have been a better choice for the west London side compared to Rosenior.
While insisting that Fabregas is a good option for Chelsea, Scholes stressed that the former midfielder is not a right choice for Manchester United.
Speaking on The Good, The Bad & The Football podcast, the former England star spoke of Fabregas: “Not for United.
“But do you know what? I actually like what Fabregas is doing and think he might have been a better choice for Chelsea than Liam Rosenior.
“But he’s not right for Manchester United.”
Meanwhile, Chelsea fans will be looking forward to see if Rosenior can turn their fortune around as the Blues struggle to maintain consistent form this season in the Premier League and other tournaments.
