Havertz rated above Martial and Richarlison
Former striker Gary Lineker has rated a struggling Arsenal star Kai Havertz highly above Manchester United’s Anthony Martial and Tottenham’s Richarlison.
So far this season, the three players have found it hard to impress at their respective clubs.
Havertz, who moved to Arsenal from Chelsea during the recent summer transfer window, is yet to score a goal or create an assist in five games for the North London club.
Despite Havertz’s shortcomings, Lineker while comparing the player to Martial and Richarlison, insisted that the Germany international had a record of achievement in the past.
Lineker said (via Metro): “The others at the moment have underachieved a bit.
“Martial has the talent, but I don’t know if he is a bit soft mentally or unlucky with injuries.
“I would personally put Havertz first, then either or, maybe Martial, because he has a record, and Richarlison still has it to do, although I think he is capable.”
