Former Chelsea star, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has applauded Nicolas Jackson for his form for the Blues this season.

Jackson has been one of Chelsea’s shining player this season despite struggling last season under former manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Recall that the Blues were keen on signing a striker that can score goals in the summer transfer window but it appears manager Enzo Maresca has now solved the problem in front, with Jackson scoring goals more frequently.

Hasselbaink in his statement stressed that he likes Jackson because the Senegal star causes defenders so much trouble.

Jackson moved to Stamford Bridge in a £32m deal from Villarreal last year.

So far since his arrival at Chelsea, the 23-year-old forward has scored 21 goals in 50 appearances for the Premier League west London club.

Hasselbaink while speaking via Genting Casino stated that Jackson scored fourteen goals in the Premier League last season, which was not a bad return in a firsy season in the Premier League.
