Former Man City star speaks on playing at Chelsea

Former Manchester City star Cole Palmer has reacted to Chelsea’s win vs Tottenham last weekend as he scored an equaliser to get his third goal in the Blues’ last four Premier League games from the penalty spot.

Palmer in a post-match statement said everything about the night was positive, as has been his start to life with the Blues.

‘It was amazing,’ he said. ‘An amazing stadium, both sets of fans were amazing. It was the kind of game you want to play in when you’re growing up. It was a brilliant game.

Speaking on life at Stamford Bridge, Palmer, who joined the Blues in the last summer window said:

‘I’m really enjoying it at Chelsea every day, on and off the pitch. It was a big change for me and my family to come here, but opportunities like this don’t come around often, so I’m glad it’s paying off at this moment in time.’
