Former Chelsea star makes big prediction about the future of Frank Lampard

Former Chelsea star Gary Cahill has shared his opinion on the future of former teammate Frank who was dismissed at the club some weeks ago.

Frank Lampard has been linked with some clubs ever since he was dismissed at Chelsea following a poor run of form that saw the blues languish in 9 place.

The blues fortune have now changed ever since Thomas Tuchel was brought in his replacement as the former Paris Saint-Germain have bagged 7 points from a possible 9.

Gary Cahill who is still playing for Crystal Palace has now spoken about Chelsea’s decision to sack their legend as he predicts when fans should be expecting him on the sidelines.

Cahill while speaking on BBC Radio 5 Live stated that he won’t know how soon Lampard will be returning to the sideline as it depends on him and the opportunities, but for sure he sees him getting back soon.

According to the former Bolton Wanderers defender, it will be interesting where he gets back in because when pundits look at the two jobs he has had and they couldn’t be further apart, at Derby in the Championship and then one of the biggest clubs in the Premier League.

Cahill added that where he fits in, he’s not quite sure, but for sure, he sees Lampard getting back in.

Not ready to hide his thoughts, Cahill also noted that he felt that the decision to part ways with Lampard was made too soon.

Frank Lampard has been linked with a move to Scottish champion Celtic who might lose the league title to Rangers this season.
