Former Chelsea manager willing to sign Greenwood

Former Chelsea and now AS Roma manager, Jose Mourinho is said to be keen on signing Mason Greenwood after Manchester United on Monday, announced the 21-year-old will not play for them again.

A report via the Mail Sport revealed the Serie A side are among several clubs who have contacted the Red Devils for Greenwood.

After a five-month internal investigation, Man Utd deemed that Greenwood had not committed a string of serious offences he had been charged with.

But the club’s hierarchy along with the player, reached an agreement that it was best if he move to another club to continue his career.

It is unlikely that Greenwood will get a chance to play for another club in the Premier League or other leagues in England.

Instead, a switch to other leagues in other countries like Italy, Turkey, among others could be his best bet.
