Romano in a tweet via his X handle said Tuchel has completed the agreement to become new England manager.
The transfer expect added that terms have been agreed while a contract is set to be signed with an official statement expected soon.
“Tuchel opened doors to England job in July and it’s now a done,” he added.
There are reports that the former Chelsea manager will be unveiled before the end of this week.
Meanwhile, Tuchel was previously named as the favourite to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd.
