Former Chelsea coach gives conditions to take up Tottenham job
The latest reports have revealed that former Chelsea coach, Antonio Conte has given conditions to take up a coaching job at Tottenham Hotspur.
Conte has been linked with moves to Tottenham Hotspurs after he departed Italian toppers, Inter Milan a few weeks back.
Recall that Conte handed his resignation letter to the Seria A cup in a move that remains unexpected as it came at a period when he led them to victory in the Italian Seria A after years of waiting.
Well, his latest focus seems to be the EPL and the reports have claimed he is already in advance talks with the Hotspurs to be their new coach after the sack of Jose Mourinho who is now with Italian side, AS Roma.
The report however claimed that Conte has given conditions to take up the job at Tottenham.
Conte is well known for his frank exchange of views with club hierarchies which was part of the issue he had with Chelsea before he was sacked and has similarly made his demands clear to Spurs.
The reports revealed that in his talks with Tottenham chiefs, he also issued a specific request regarding Harry Kane and will only agree to take the job if he receives assurances Kane will stay beyond this summer.
The Italian is said to be demanding a contract worth £8.5million per season.
