Former Chelsea coach gives condition to coach Man Utd
Chelsea may soon welcome their former coach, Antonio Conte, in the English Premier League if anything in the latest report is anything to go by.
This comes as reports have linked Conte with moves to Man Utd, where he could become their next manager.
The report comes after Man Utd suffered a 2-1 defeat against the Young Boys in the Champions League despite the presence of Cristiano Ronaldo in the team.
This defeat has seen pressure mounted on the Red Devils coach, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who could be replaced with a more experienced coach.
According to Italian transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, he claimed that the former Chelsea manager had expressed an interest in managing Man United if called upon by the club.
Di Marzio noted that Conte wanted a winning club, and Man Utd seems to be the only one that meets the criteria.
Recall that the former Blues manager had been linked with moves to Arsenal and Tottenham in the past; Di Marzio noted that the reason Conte didn’t accept the two EPL clubs is that they are not immediately strong to win something.
“I think he would consider Manchester United’s call, if it arrived,” Di Marzio told Sky Sports.
Conte has been out of job this season after his shocking departure from Inter Milan despite helping them win the Seria A title last season.
