Five key plays that Chelsea are hoping to extend their contracts
Chelsea are currently considered one of the most dangerous teams this season, and they have proven by remaining undefeated so far in all competitions.
The Blues are hoping to continue with their solid form and one of the ways to achieve this is by keeping their keys plays at Stamford Bridge.
There are five key players who the Blues are hoping to extend their contract at Stamford Bridge, and they are the Blues defenders; Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger, midfielders N’Golo Kante and Jorginho, who have both entered the final two years of their contracts.
Mason Mount is also expected to be rewarded with a new deal after becoming a starter at Chelsea.
The reports have disclosed that Christensen is close to putting pen to paper on a long-term deal that will see him earn £120,000 a week.
Kante and Jorginho are expected to get contracts extensions soon.
The only issue the Blues seems to have is how to tie down Rudiger to sign a long-term contract, which has not gone as well.
Rudiger’s contract will lapse at the end of this season, and he has refused to agree to the Blues deal, which has raised transfer speculations to other clubs.
