Ferdinand names favourites to win EPL title ahead of Man Utd

Former Man Utd star Rio Ferdinand in a recent statement has named two clubs he would love to win the Premier League title this season ahead of Man City.

The two clubs are North London clubs Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.

As of now, the two North London clubs are currently joint-top with 20 points after eight fixtures.

In a statement on Vibe with Five podcast, Ferdinand admitted he does not want Manchester City to win it for the fourth consecutive year.

“I think Man City will go on and win it, but I would really like Arsenal to win it this year.

“I don’t want Man City to win it four times in a row.

“I’d also like Spurs to win it too. I am a big fan of Ange (Postecoglou),” Ferdinand said.

Meanwhile, Man City dropped off the top of the table after a 1-0 defeat to Arsenal before the international break.
