Fabregas tell this Chelsea defender to be more aggresive

Former Chelsea and Arsenal star Cesc Fabregas in a recent statement, has told the Blues defender Andreas Christensen to be more aggressive.

According to Fabregas, Christensen is ‘too much of a good guy.

Christensen, who joined the Blues in 2012, has made 150 appearances for the club; however, the Denmark international will see his current contract expires at the end of the season, and the defender has been linked with a move to LaLiga club Barcelona.

Fabregas, in his statement, said he was ‘surprised’ by the centre-back’s quality when he first broke into Chelsea’s first team.

He added that the Denmark international needs to show more aggression during games.

“He is fast, strong, great with the ball, agile, positions himself well,” Fabregas said in an interview with Spanish journalist Gerard Romero on his Twitch show Jijantes.

“When I first arrived at Chelsea, he was a youngster training with the first team, and I was already surprised.

“The only thing that I would tell Christensen to try and improve on is that he’s too much of a good guy sometimes. He has to be more of a bastard, you know.

“I see that in Eric [Garcia] too. They’re good guys, and you can’t be like that in football these days.”
