FA Cup semi-final: Chelsea’s opponent revealed

Chelsea have progressed to the semi-final of the FA Cup where they will now face Premier League champions at Manchester City at Wembley.

Recall that the Blues defeated Leicester City in the quarter-final stage 4 winning 4-2 at Stamford Bridge after Carney Chukwuemeka and Noni Madueke both came off the bench to net late on and secure the win following first-half goals from Marc Cucurella and Cole Palmer.

Standing in the way of a place in the final of the world’s oldest domestic club competition is Manchester City, who defeated Newcastle United to reach the last four and are the current holders.

Chelsea will hope to make it to the final as the FA Cup tournament is their only chance of winning a trophy this season:
