FA Cup: Chelsea to face Liverpool in the final
Chelsea will now face Liverpool in the FA Cup final after they defeated Crystal Palace in the semifinals on Sunday at Wembley Stadium.
The Blues beat Crystal Palace 2-0 in the second semi-final of the competition at Wembley on Sunday.
Thanks to goals from Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Mason Mount, who scored two second-half goals to seal the win.
Thomas Tuchel’s men will now take on Liverpool for the second domestic title in England.
Liverpool made it to the final with a 3-2 victory over Manchester City on Saturday at Wembley.
The FA Cup is Chelsea’s last chance of lifting a trophy this season, having been kicked out of the Uefa Champions League by Real Madrid a few days ago.
They don’t have a chance in the EPL either, as all the need currently is to finish in the top four.
On the other Liverpool, led by Jurgen Klopp, have already won the Carabao Cup this season and are chasing an unprecedented quadruple as they start a chance to win the UCL and EPL aside from the FA Cup.
