FA Cup: Chelsea and 21 other clubs that qualify to the next stage
The third round of the FA Cup is over, and Chelsea have joined a list of other clubs to qualify for the next change.
This comes after the Blues defeated Chesterfield in a 5-1 storyline during the match that took place on Saturday at Stamford Bridge.
The other clubs that made it to the next stage other than Chelsea are Manchester City, Middlesbrough, Fulham, Hartlepool, Huddersfield, Coventry, Crystal Palace, Cambridge United, Barnsley, Peterborough, Brighton, Kid’minster and Brentford.
Others are Leicester City, Wigan Athletic, QPR, Boreham Wood, Everton, Plymouth Argyle, Southampton and Bournemouth.
The remaining eight clubs that will join the 22 clubs in the FA Cup fourth round stage will play their third round fixtures on Sunday and Monday, respectively.
The reports have also revealed that the draw for this season’s FA Cup fourth round fixtures will take place on Sunday, 9 January 2022 at Wembley stadium.
Chelsea are likely to be paired an easy team in the next stage of the tournament.
The Blues will return to action during the week when they face Tottenham Hotspur in the second leg of the EFL tournament.
