EPL: This Chelsea star singled out after 2-1 win over RB Salzburg

Chelsea on Tuesday night returned to action when they faced Austrian club RB Salzburg at the RB Arena in the UCL

Reacting to the Blues’ performance, former Barcelona striker, Gary Lineker, has singled out Chelsea forward Kai Havertz for praise after the Blues’ 2-1 win over RB Salzburg.

Havertz scored the winning goal for Chelsea in the 2nd half as they picked up three points against RB Salzburg.

His teammate Mateo Kovacic also scored the opening goal for Graham Potter’s side.

Chelsea are now on top of Group E with 10 points from five matches.

Reacting, Lineker, in a tweet via his Twitter handle, described Havertz’s goal as ‘gorgeous’.

“Gorgeous goal from @kaihavertz29,” Lineker tweeted.

Havertz will now hope to continue his impressive form for Chelsea when they face Brighton in their next game on Saturday.
