EPL: Club to unseat Man City next season revealed

Former football star Gary Lineker has predicted Arsenal to unseat EPL champions next season to win their first title for the first time after 20 years.

Arsenal were close to winning the title last season as they emerged as City’s biggest rival.

But the Gunners finished second on the League table last campaign, behind Man City, who won it for the third time in a row.

However, Lineker said Mikel Arteta’s side now have the experience that would help them win the Premier League title in the 2023/24 season.

“I am tipping Arsenal to win the title this season – maybe just to avoid being predictable but I do think they have had an impressive summer in the transfer market,” Lineker told The Sun.

“Rather than demoralising them, going close and missing out last season will benefit Mikel Arteta’s side. Being in the title race has given them an experience that they didn’t previously have.”
