EPL: Chelsea vs Tottenham – Possible prediction

Chelsea will return to action this weekend when they host Tottenham and their former coach Antonio Conte at Stamford Bridge in the 2nd EPL and 1st home game.

Ahead of the match, former Chelsea midfielder, Gus Poyet, has dropped his predictions.

Poyet predicted a ‘very tough’ match when Chelsea face Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.

The Blues head to the match following a 1-0 win over Everton in their last game, while Tottenham defeated Southampton 4-1.

“It’s a very tough game for Chelsea, being so early in the season, in a derby and Chelsea not looking at their best, it’s more important for Chelsea to win,” Poyet told Lord Ping.

“If Tottenham win there’s no drama, but if Chelsea lose now, it could trigger some crazy new panic signings in the last few weeks of the transfer window, and that is never good.”

“Conte knows what he will do, I’m not so sure what the starting line-up will be for Chelsea with their cramp and little injuries. It’s a very important game for Chelsea.”
