Don’t let him join rivals: Chelsea advised to resign former midfielder

Former Chelsea star, Frank Leboeuf has sent a message to the club amid N’Golo Kante’s rumoured return to Europe.

Leboeuf advised the Blues to make a move for their former midfielder Kante this summer transfer window.

The former defender wants the Blues to block the France international possible transfer to their Premier League rivals West Ham United.

Recall that Kante signed for Chelsea in 2016 from Leicester City after his impressive role in the Foxes’ unexpected Premier League victory.

The Frenchman turned out to a success at Chelsea as well before leaving the club last summer to sign for Saudi Arabia side Al-Ittihad.

However, Kante has been linked with a return to Europe and the Premier League, with West Ham among the clubs interested in signing him after his impressive for for France at the Euros in Germany.

Leboeuf in a statement via ESPN said recounted his reaction when he first saw the new about Kante’s return to the Premier League as he believes it was best Chelsea make a move for him.

The former Chelsea defender believes Kante will be a good deal for West Ham if they are able to seal a move for him ahead of the Blues this summer.
