Colwill and Gallagher called up to England team

Two Chelsea stars Levi Colwill and Conor Gallagher have been called up to the England national team.

The Three Lions coach Gareth Southgate selected the pair for the Three Lions’ upcoming fixtures against Australia and Italy, the former a friendly and the latter a European qualifier.

This is coming ahead of the international break which commences after this weekend’s games.

England will welcome Australia to Wembley Stadium on Friday, October 13 before hosting Italy in a crunch European qualifier at the same venue four days later on Tuesday, October 17.

The two Chelsea graduates are both part of the latest Three Lions squad, while Ben Chilwell and Reece James will be unavailable to join due to injury.

Gallagher will hope to add to his nine England caps, while defender Colwill will be looking to land his first international appearance at senior level.
