Chilwell reacts to his goal against Leicester City

Chelsea left wing-back Ben Chilwell was one of the goal scorers during the Blues weekend game vs Leicester City.

Chilwel’s goal against the Foxes was his second goal of the season for Chelsea.

In a post match statement, Chilwell expressed his excitement against playing against his former club and being able to help the Blues win all three points.

‘I think it was probably one of the most enjoyable goals for myself of my career. It’s no bad blood at all, I really enjoy coming back here and seeing all of the old faces that I used to see all the time day to day,’ Chilwell said via Chelsea’s website.

‘But when it’s that 90 minutes on the pitch, of course I’m going to give everything to win the game for Chelsea, and thankfully today I contributed with a goal.’

Despite winning three points, Chelsea remain seated at the 10th spot on the EPL table and would now have to focus on their next game against Everton next weekend.
