Chelsea Vs Nottingham Forest: Possible prediction

Chelsea will return to action this weekend in the Premier League when they host Nottingham Forest at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues who recently defeat Belgian side Gent in the Conference League will hope to make it their sixth straight win under manager Enzo Maresca.

Ahead of their weekend fixture, former Arsenal star Paul Merson has predicted how the game could go.

Merson in a statement via Sportskeeda said the game against Nottingham Forest is a difficult and dangerous one for Chelsea.

According to the former Arsenal star, Nottingham Forest are always a threat on the counter-attack and have already won at Anfield this season.

Merson pointed that the Maresca led Chelsea side don’t look comfortable at the back as Nottingham could get chances if they press the Blues.

He, however, said he couldn’t see Chelsea and Nottingham Forest not scoring goals in the match.

Merson speculated that there will be plenty of goals in the game. He added that even if Chelsea look a bit shaky at the back, what they are trying to do is, however, visible unlike Manchester United.

The former Arsenal man tipped Chelsea to win the match with a 4-2 scoreline against Nottingham Forest.
