Chelsea to offload this four players before transfer window closes

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel is set to offload four players from his squad before the summer transfer window closes in September.

According to a report via The Athletic, the four players are Marcos Alonso, Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech and Malang Sarr.

The report hinted that Alonso, Werner, Sarr and Ziyech are no longer considered as part of the Chelsea squad and Tuchel doesn’t want them at Stamford Bridge this season.

In the case of Alonso, the defender is closing in on a transfer to Barcelona and was not included in the Chelsea squad that defeated Everton 1-0 on Saturday.

While Werner has been linked with a return to his former German club RB Leipzig on a permanent transfer.

The report revealed he has arrived in Germany for medical.

In the case of Sarr, he is a target for Fulham and Brighton but has reportedly agreed on terms with AS Monaco.

Ziyech, however, was in earlier with Italian side AC Milan, but the talks have stalled for the time being. Aside from AC Milan, Manchester United at some point were linked with the Moroccan.
