Chelsea target to arrive at new club in January
Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr has tipped Portugal star Cristiano Ronaldo to arrive this week as they made moves to sign Sergio Ramos from Paris Saint-Germain, Marca reports.
According to the reports, Ronaldo is close to finalising his transfer to the Middle East club after his Manchester United contract was terminated.
Aside from the 37-year-old forward, the Saudi Arabian club is looking forward to signing a number of top players around Europe including Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante and Sergio Ramos.
Ramos’ current contract with French club PSG will expire in the summer and it is believed Al-Nassr’s club president and sporting director are planning to travel to Madrid, where they will look to progress a potential deal for Ramos.
In the case of Ronaldo, the Saudi club hope to make his deal official come January 1 when the winter transfer window would commence.
