Chelsea target set to leave his current club at a cheap price
Chelsea have been handed a positive update on the future of one of their target in the transfer window as Crystal Palace are reportedly willing to let Wilfried Zaha leave this summer.
Wilfred Zaha has become an essential player for Crystal Palace in the past few seasons, and despite that he’s always been linked with other clubs, he has continued to play for the Eagles.
Arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea have been linked with the former Manchester United star in the past, and this has continued this summer.
Reports have claimed Thomas Tuchel is a fan of the Ivory Coast international and will not mind having him in his team next season.
It now appears that this move might be completed this summer, with The Times reporting that the player has requested to be transferred away from the club.
According to The Times, Zaha is ready for the next phase in his career, and Crystal Palace are prepared to grant his wish.
The club are also ready to reduce his transfer fee in a bid to attract more suitors.
Crystal Palace recently appointed former Arsenal midfielder Patrick Viera as their manager, and it’s not clear if he has given the green light for the sale of Zaha.
