Chelsea target consider a true striker

Former Juventus and Bayern Munich star Luca Toni recently shared his opinion on Chelsea and Napoli’s Victor Osimhen.

Toni in his statement tagged Osimhen as a ‘true striker’ after he scored the equaliser in Napoli’s Champions League 1-1 draw with Barcelona on Wednesday night.

Goals from Robert Lewandowski and Osimhen ensured both the Catalans and Naples drew in the Champions League Round of 16 first-leg tie.

“Osimhen withstood the defender’s impact, protected the ball, turned well, and then in front of the goal, the goalkeeper was wrong-footed,” Toni told Amazon Prime Video as per Tutto Napoli. A goal from a true striker,” he said.

“Napoli played a great match; they had a lot to lose, but instead, they emerged from Barcelona’s dominance and demonstrated that they can scare Barcelona.”

Napoli will now travel to Spain for the second leg of the tournament against Barcelona next month.
